STILL IN SCHOOL BUT WANT TO GET A HEAD START IN A LAW ENFORCEMENT CAREER?
Our Community Service Officer (CSO) Program is specifically geared toward college students with an interest in a career in the law enforcement field. CSO's get on the job experience assisting our officers and dispatchers to serve our community.
PLPD employs up to 4 limited term CSO's at a time.
Current CSO Pay:
You must be currently enrolled in college courses to be a CSO, but studying in an LE related field is not required

We're flexible and will work around your class schedule

You will get hands on experience with helping our patrol officers and dispatchers serve our community
​
Working as a CSO will give you a head start in the law enforcement field and looks great on a resume!
